We have two options: the Master Suite (which can accommodate two guests with a king-sized bed) and the Lost Cabin, which includes its own rustic bathroom & shower.

The A-frames are charming, triangular cabins nestled in the natural surroundings of our property. These cozy, minimalist spaces offer a serene environment for retreat guests to relax and recharge. Each A-frame is a standalone cabin that accommodates two guests. They are thoughtfully positioned throughout the property, with convenient access to restroom facilities. Think of them as a perfect blend of glamping and rustic comfort!

For nearby accommodations, you have plenty of great options within the Los Angeles area. We recommend exploring Calabasas, Woodland Hills, or anywhere within a 5-10 mile radius of Topanga Canyon. Airbnbs in Topanga are especially convenient if you’d like to stay close. For a beachside or city experience, Malibu, Santa Monica, and Venice are also excellent choices.

Yes, absolutely! You can attend as a non-resident participant by purchasing a “Retreat Ticket without Lodging,” which includes all meals, activities, and access to the property.

All lodging options come with at minimum a heater and a fan. Lodging in the main house and guest house have air conditioning.

No, we do not provide ground transportation and there is no public transit available. However, we recommend Canyon Car Service (canyoncarservice.com), which many previous guests have used. Please book in advance. Renting a car is another good option. You can typically take an Uber and Lyft to our property but it is very difficult to get them to pick up from our property.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) are the best options. The commute to Commune Topanga takes about 45 to 75 minutes, depending on traffic.

Here’s a recommended packing list:

• Comfortable slip-on shoes (all indoor spaces are barefoot zones).
• Good walking/hiking shoes for outdoor exploration.
• Layers for varying temperatures: cool mornings, warm-to-hot afternoons, and chilly evenings.
• Swimsuit for our sauna, hot tub, and small pool. Outdoor showers are also available.
• Your own beach towel for outdoor use. Shower towels are provided are for indoor use only.
• A reusable water bottle and an insulated mug for hot beverages.
• Bug spray, sunscreen, and personal toiletries (please bring phosphate-free and organic products, as we use grey water for irrigation).
• Any medications or special dietary items you may need.
• A headlamp or flashlight (especially useful if staying in an A-frame cabin, tea house, or camping).
• Optional: your own yoga mat (though we have extras on-site).
